Message from Tlaleng & Lackson…

Dearest Lynnqwinda Scott,

What an amazing time we have had working with you over the past few months, for our engagement and wedding photography. Lackson and I have been blessed to know you and have you as our photographer and friend.

Your creativity and patience (especially with me) have been invaluable.
The way you captured our wedding exceeded our expectations and your warm spirit helped put us at ease. Our guests have also said how professional you are.

We cannot forgive you yet for making it so difficult for us to choose our favorite couple photo.
You have given us a lifetime of memories and we will remember our wedding day with fondness.

Baie Dankie,

Tlaleng & Lackson
xoxo

Lackson ♥ Tlaleng

How did he propose?

It was a normal morning, both of us were off from work and he woke up rather early and I just thought he is catching up with some tv.

He woke me up and he had made breakfast for us. My favorite fruit, toast egg and tea. I did feel rather spoilt and we enjoyed the breakfast together.

Then towards the end he pulled up an ottoman sat down and started this beautiful monologue about the type of guy he is; it went something like this…”Babe I know I drive you mad coz I leave my shoes and socks everywhere, I cannot cook as well as I should, I keep you up at night because of my snoring and I drive you mad coz I always make us watch action movies and not much else.  Knowing all this I would be honored if you would be my wife. Will you marry me?”

….and I wasted no time and said Yes!

What was special to you during the planning process of the BIG day?

We had a really great time during the menu tasting evenings at Avianto.  We had our bridal entourage and our close family join us and chose something for the wedding menu that they also enjoyed.  Everyone felt really special and really pleased to be included.

A few days before the wedding my mom decided to teach us the ‘bridal entourage entrance’ dance and we practiced at our home with our friends and the bridal entourage.  She also made sure we practice for our first dance.  The room was filled with laughter and so much happiness.

Describe an event that you feel wasunique or even funny on your wedding day?

Lackson did his speech and at the end he asked me for a dance however I had taken my shoes off while the speeches were being done, the song started and he just stood there while one of my bridesmaids put my shoes back on. Once we started dancing suddenly a different started playing over our song.  We carried on while the Dj, who is our friend, started our song from the beginning but we were not bothered at all we just laughed and did your thing.  We both loved the first dance.

What happens behind the scenes? – That you didn’t know of?

The seating plan changed drastically on the morning of the wedding.  Luckily we had a great wedding coordinator who retyped and reprinted the entire seating plan.  That could have been a disaster.

What advice can you share with other brides-to-be?

Keep the bridal entourage small (I’m glad I did).  Pause and take it all in, your wedding day goes by in a flash.  Remember to breath.

Liam ♥ Halona

So here goes this story… One fine day…one very HOT day visiting Cape Town, I got a call from a very excited a bride…very excited about her wedding! We had a meeting as soon as I got back from Cape Town and the planning started! I couldn’t wait for this wedding, but it was still 10 months to go, but this left enough space to build on an amazing relationship with Liam and Halona Samuels. I was so blessed to be part of their wedding plans. The shopping was sooooo much fun! It was also a privileged to have designed their wedding invitations…we had a few late nights planning the wedding invites! Then came the engagement party…oh what fun we had! and then the big move…we were sad to leave behind amazing and dear friend. Our little ones adore them…still remember Jordan showing Halona every single toy in his toy box ;o) and the the big day arrived…Lots of tears…happy tears! Liam & Halona…May you be blessed by God’s grace and be happy till end of days. xxx
